Cynthia Yin, O.D.

Dr. Yin has practiced optometry in the Kansas City area for over 20 years with extensive experience in adult, pediatric and geriatric eye care and diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and injuries. She is happy to take the time to help you understand your vision and ocular health conditions and the options available for correction or treatment in glasses, contact lenses and corrective surgery. She especially enjoys helping her patients achieve clear, comfortable vision with the latest contact lenses.

She graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry and completed a residency at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center. After teaching at the University of Kansas Department of Ophthalmology she practiced with a local health maintenance organization for twelve years before entering private practice. In 2007 she opened Yin Eyecare.  Dr. Yin is a member and past president of the Optometric Society of Greater Kansas City and a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kansas Optometric Association.

Cynthia is a current member and past president of the Zonta Club of Johnson County, Kansas, a member of the Kansas City Triumphs Sports Car Club and a member of the Business Referral Alliance. She enjoys being a mother, knitter, reader, yogi and traveler.

Tish

Tish has been with Yin Eyecare since 2009.  With her sunny disposition she is glad to assist you in with scheduling, choosing eyewear and ordering contact lenses.  In her free time, she enjoys her family and reading.

Kim

As a Certified Optometric Technician, Kim has achieved the highest level of certification for an optometric technician.  She brings her knowledge and sense of humor to Yin Eyecare.  She is involved in all aspect of patient care, including the optical department.  Away from work Kim enjoys spending time with her family.
